Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches

Get it ready
Drain fuel, oil and water from the equipment and remove batteries before loading, break the machine down where you can, and unload it yourself because staff cannot open or close a tailgate or trunk.
Solid Waste staff cannot open or close a vehicle tailgate, lift gate or trunk, so residents load and unload their own bulk material at the drop-off. Remove fuel, oil and batteries from outdoor equipment before it goes in the load.

The 2026 season has ended and the 2027 schedule is not yet posted, mattresses, tires and construction material are not on the published list, and the cart remains the household rubbish route rather than the bulk route.
Odessa's self haul routes run through the city's own drop-off events and the Keep Odessa Beautiful Facility. The Neighborhood Bulk Drop-Off runs on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. until noon while its season is open, and it accepts furniture, appliances, water heaters, hot tubs and above-ground pools, outdoor equipment with fuel, oil and batteries removed, mowers, trimmers, blowers, generators, edgers and barbecue pits, patio furniture, exercise equipment, trampolines, pianos and home electronics such as microwaves, televisions, cables, crock pots and space heaters. Staff cannot open or close a tailgate, lift gate or trunk, so residents load and unload their own items. The city also states that bulk items can be dropped at the Keep Odessa Beautiful Facility at any time, and that facility now carries the former household hazardous waste site, the citizen bulk drop off, the Time Machine and the Odessa Recycle Center under one name.
