No city page publishes a furniture charge, and furniture is listed only as bulk waste accepted at the April clean-up event, so confirm the piece and the collection week with the city at 817-232-4640 before it goes out.
When & how
Hold the piece for a bulk collection week or for the annual spring clean-up day in April, and do not expect it to leave with the regular Monday or Thursday cart route.
Get it ready
Keep the piece out of the recycling cart and off the sidewalk, and if it is going to the clean-up event bring a current Saginaw residential water bill.
Bulky items and brush do not run on the Monday and Thursday cart schedule. Waste Connections collects them during a free bulk week in the first week of April and again in the first week of October, and the published 2026 weeks are April 6 to 10 and October 5 to 9. Material goes to the curb by 7 a.m. on the first Monday, and nothing has to be bundled during the free week, but the pile stays out of the street, off the sidewalk and away from wires, poles and mailboxes.

Arrange it

The route runs twice a year only, the pile must stay off the street, the sidewalk and the area behind the sidewalk, and it has to clear wires, poles, mailboxes and the 14 foot roadway clearance for overhanging trees.
