Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry and inside the four cubic yard limit, and keep it clear of the carts so the collection crew can reach both. A mattress is an accepted bulk item rather than a trash item, so it should not be left for the weekly garbage truck.
Residents may place four cubic yards of bulk waste at the curb once a month with the waste and recycling carts, following the city's set-out week map.
