City cost & eligibility
No charge. Bulky item collection is provided to all city residential solid waste customers as part of the service, once a week, with no separate per item charge published. Material beyond the regular collection or out of compliance can use the priced Pay Pile service instead.
When & how
Out no later than 7 a.m. on the bulky collection day for the route, which is Tuesday for Tuesday and Friday homes, Friday or Wednesday for Wednesday and Saturday homes depending on the side of Farm to Market 2004, and Thursday or Monday for Monday and Thursday homes depending on the side of Highway 146.

Place the mattress within five feet of the curb or the edge of the street, and keep it away from overhead wires and low limbs, fences, garbage carts, mailboxes, parked cars, trees and water meters. Keep the piece out of the cart, because bulky material is collected separately.
Bulky items are collected once a week on the day the city sets by route: Tuesday for Tuesday and Friday homes, Friday east of Farm to Market 2004 and Wednesday west of it for Wednesday and Saturday homes, and Thursday east of Highway 146 and Monday west of it for Monday and Thursday homes.
