Choose by the type of equipment. A brand name does not mean a different item, but a walking pad and a full treadmill do.
Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

A machine can be too heavy or awkward for a solo move. Arrange suitable help for indoor carrying, stairs or any dismantling needed to reach the outdoor pickup spot.
A pickup day is not an exact arrival window. Tell us before booking about a shared loading area, restricted outdoor access or equipment whose size or setup you are unsure how to select.

Book a day you can be ready.
Choose from the available pickup dates before moving the machine out. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. Book by 2pm at the pickup address for same-day pickup.

Place the booked equipment in an accessible outdoor spot. Keep any separated parts together, add a photo and clear location notes to your order, and leave the approach clear.

Exercise equipment is not named on either bulky list, so a treadmill or a weight machine has to be confirmed with the hauler before it goes out, even though the bulky service is the route for large household items.
City cost & eligibility
Neither the acceptable nor the refused bulky list names exercise equipment, and the township publishes no separate rate for one, so call Waste Management on 1-800-800-5804 with the machine and its size to confirm that it will be collected on a booked bulky pickup before it is set at the curb.
When & how
Call the hauler first, then book the bulky collection at least two business days before the normal service day and set the machine out on that day.
Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it will come apart, keep the loose weights and parts with it, and cut any long frame section into four foot lengths the way the bulky list requires for long items.
Trash, recycling and yard trimmings all go out by 7 a.m. on the weekly service day, with clear access for the trucks and the trimmings at least four feet from the carts. Trash stays in the green-lidded cart and recycling in the yellow-lidded cart, clean, dry, empty and loose with cardboard flattened, and Waste Management answers a green tag violation on the next service day rather than returning.
Bulky oversized collection is a courtesy service at no additional cost, but it has to be booked with Waste Management on 1-800-800-5804 or cssatex@wm.com at least two business days before the normal service day, and it is not offered on selected Mondays and Fridays because of the bulky cardboard schedule. Long items are cut into four foot sections, carpet is bundled in four foot lengths with a limit of two, toilets are boxed and taped, glass is taped into a tarp, and a cooling unit needs a certified freon free tag.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Book the bulky oversized collection
A township household with furniture, bedding, an appliance, carpet, fencing, a toilet or another item too large for the cart.
Cost & conditions
No charge. The township provides the bulky oversized collection as a courtesy to residents at no additional cost, booked with Waste Management on 1-800-800-5804 or cssatex@wm.com at least two business days before the normal service day, and it is not offered on select Mondays and Fridays.
Arrange it
Call or email the hauler to book the collection, prepare the items the way the accepted list requires, and set them at the curb for the scheduled day.
Brush and yard trimmings, construction and home improvement debris, electronics, extra trash bags, small items that fit in the cart and vehicles or parts are all refused, a cooling unit needs a certified freon free tag, and an unbooked pile is not collected.

Dropcurb pickup starts outside. Arrange indoor carrying, stairs and any dismantling needed to get your equipment out before pickup. Check the moving instructions for your exact model and arrange suitable help. We load and haul away the equipment from an accessible outdoor spot.
Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
Enter the combined weight in pounds for your dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Booking rounds that total up to the next 10 lb unit: 25 lb uses three units. Stands, racks and benches are separate items and do not include the loose weights. Add each one that is going.

Who collects trash in The Woodlands?+
Waste Management collects under a contract with The Woodlands Township, which provides the service to residents as a courtesy at no charge. Each single family home gets a 96-gallon trash cart and a 96-gallon recycling cart collected once a week, plus weekly yard trimmings and a booked bulky collection.
