Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

A Trophy Club household can self haul extra trash and bulk to the CWD Transfer Station at 2010 California Crossing Road in Dallas, where CWD states that items are dropped off free of charge Wednesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. excluding holidays, and a copy of the current water bill is required at the gate. The same bulky waste rules apply there as at the curb, so a single item over 150 pounds, commercial construction and remodeling debris, hazardous waste, tires, batteries, propane tanks, loose brush, loose debris and extra trash bags are still refused, and household debris has to sit inside a disposable container no larger than two feet by two feet by four feet and no more than 50 pounds. Keeping the material curbside is the other route: bulky waste and bundled brush ride the second trash day, four cubic yards are free, and a larger pile should be priced with CWD Customer Service at 972.392.9300 option 2 first because a tagged pile above the free allowance is billed at the published per cubic yard rate. Yard waste outside the six week leaf season goes in paper yard waste bags with bulky waste, up to four cubic yards or about 12 bags, and recyclables have to be loose in an authorized CWD 18 gallon bin or 95 gallon polycart. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Trophy Club.

How much does TV removal cost in Trophy Club?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Trophy Club?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

How do I get rid of a television in Trophy Club?

Televisions go out door-side through CWD's hazardous waste and used electronics program. Call CWD at 972.392.9300 option 2 at least two weeks ahead, use the collection kit CWD mails, and place the television in a cardboard box at your doorstep by 7 a.m. on the service day, never at the curb.Official guidance

Who handles trash and bulky pickup in Trophy Club?

Community Waste Disposal has been the Town of Trophy Club residential collection provider since June 1, 2025, after the franchise moved from Republic Services. CWD runs trash twice a week, recycling once a week and bulky waste and bundled brush on the second trash day, and customer service is on 972.392.9300 option 2.Official guidance

What does a bulky pickup cost in Trophy Club?

Bulky waste up to four cubic yards per collection is included at no separate charge on the second trash day, and the residential collection itself is billed on the water bill as Town Refuse and Town Refuse Tax. Volume beyond the free four cubic yards is billed at the published per cubic yard rate and tagged at the curb or noted on the CWD account.Official guidance

What can go out as bulky waste in Trophy Club?

Toys and yard tools tagged as a bulk item, furniture, bundled carpet in four foot lengths, fence panels no larger than four by six feet, washing machines, dryers, water heaters, kitchen appliances, and refrigerators or freezers with a refrigerant removal tag. Items over 150 pounds, commercial construction and remodeling debris, hazardous waste, tires, batteries, propane tanks, loose brush and loose debris are refused.Official guidance

What happens to leaves and yard waste in Trophy Club?

Trophy Club runs a six week town wide leaf collection with unlimited bagged leaves at no additional cost, and outside that window yard waste goes in paper yard waste bags with bulky waste on the second trash day, up to four cubic yards or about 12 bags. Christmas trees are collected curbside after the season with no additional cost, without tinsel, lights or ornaments.Official guidance

How are holidays handled for Trophy Club collection?

Collection resumes on the next scheduled pickup day after an observed holiday, and CWD notifies residents of any confirmed holiday schedule changes. Trash runs twice a week and recycling once a week, so a missed day rolls to the next regular service day.Official guidance

Which containers can I use in Trophy Club?

Trash can go in your own bins or bags, with a limit of 15 bags per pickup. Recycling has to use a CWD provided 18 gallon bin, up to three bins per residence at no cost, or a 95 gallon polycart for an additional monthly charge, and Republic bins and blue bagged recycling are not collected.Official guidance

Can I take extra trash or bulk somewhere myself in Trophy Club?

Yes. CWD states that items can be dropped off free of charge at the CWD Transfer Station, 2010 California Crossing Road, Dallas, TX 75220, on Wednesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. excluding holidays, and a copy of the current water bill is required. The station is for extra trash and bulk, so the curbside bulky waste refusal list still applies there and household hazardous waste goes to the door-side collection instead.Official guidance
