Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry and inside the six by six by six foot limit with the pile clear of obstructions. A mattress that goes to Cobbs counts inside the four free bulky trips a year and the eight cubic yard per visit limit, and loose loads there must be tarped.
A household with curbside service gets one bulky waste pickup each month, and it has to be requested in advance through the city form or the Waco curbside app. The pickup itself adds nothing to the bill, but a pile larger than six by six by six feet is quoted at an extra charge, and a pile that does not meet the requirements leaves the household with the estimated fee instead of a collection.
