Tube TVs
An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

Get it ready
Keep the screen whole and dry and wipe anything that stores data, keep it out of the recycling cart, and confirm the fee before travelling because the transfer station charges by material and adds the state refuse tax.
South Hill is unincorporated, so there is no municipal collection contract. Pierce County publishes the franchise areas and tells residents to contact their hauler directly for billing, a smaller garbage cart or service setup. Hazardous waste is free at Hidden Valley on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and at the Tacoma centre Friday to Monday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., covering aerosols, cleaners, antifreeze, automotive fluids, batteries, cooking oil up to 5 gallons, gasoline up to 5 gallons, motor oil up to 5 quarts, oil based paints, paint thinner, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs and pool chemicals.
