Empty the unit, secure or remove the doors, keep refrigerant appliances out of a county transfer station when the unit holds ammonia, keep commercial sized units out of the load entirely, and cover and secure the load before the trip.
Garbage, yard waste and recyclables are collected on the same day, with carts out by 6 a.m. and recycling on its every other week schedule. The green cart stays at least three feet from the other carts and from vehicles and obstacles and within two feet of the curb, the lid faces the street or alley, the cart holds no more than 200 pounds, and extra material that is under four feet long can be bundled beside the cart for an extra fee.
