Will the city take it?
Oshkosh offers prepaid large-item pickup to City Sanitation customers in buildings with four living units or fewer. Electronics, tires and yard materials use distinct arrangements.
The City lists dishwashers, microwaves, stoves, washers, dryers and water heaters for prepaid collection.

Confirm the current category, total charge and item count before prepaying; cooling equipment uses a separate rate.

Grass, leaves, garden debris and brush up to six feet long and six inches in diameter.
Annual permit is registered and affixed to one vehicle. Material must be from your own personal residence; no commercial, landscaping or apartment-building material. Tarp open trucks and trailers. No sod, roots, stumps, soil, rocks, concrete, lumber, building material, trash or recycling.
$25 per vehicle annual permit. Residential households served by City of Oshkosh Sanitation; other eligible personal residences pay the nonresident permit rate.

Can I book a pickup for today?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Choose from the dates shown at checkout. Your booking is for a pickup day, and we text you when your hauler is on the way.
Do my items need to be outside when I book?+
You can book while your items are still inside. Arrange any indoor carrying and have everything outside and accessible according to your confirmation. We load and haul it away from there. Contact us before booking if your property has restricted access.
Can I leave a couch or mattress out without booking City collection?+
No. Schedule and prepay before set-out. Unscheduled terrace or driveway-apron items are treated as waste violations. Items offered for reuse belong on the house side of the sidewalk.Official guidance
