Yard waste stays separate: grass, leaves, pine straw and limbs cut under four feet long and eight inches in diameter go behind the curb on the weekly yard trash day.

Montgomery residents can self-haul to the Saturday trash drop-off points on the first and third Saturday of the month from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the operating policy limiting bricks, cement, dirt and roofing to one cubic yard and directing larger loads, bulk tires and heavy vehicles to the North Montgomery Landfill. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners go to the Cramton Bowl north parking lot instead.
