Brush and bulky items are serviced weekly on the same day as the residential collection, and each residence is allowed about four cubic yards, which the operator describes as roughly four carts. Stack the material neatly three feet away from the cart so the truck can reach both, and keep it out of the street and off the sidewalk.

Households with bagged garbage for the 96-gallon cart plus a modest pile of brush and bulky material, up to about four cubic yards.
Cost & conditions
No charge. The weekly collection is part of the residential sanitation service that is billed through the water bill. No separate charge is published for material inside the four cubic yard allowance, while an overflowing container carries a one-time fee.
Arrange it
Put the cart out the night before or before 4 a.m. on the service day, and stack the bulky material neatly three feet from the cart. Confirm anything the operator does not name as a collected item, such as furniture or a mattress, with the local customer service line at (870) 399-7463 first.
Appliances, electronics, paint, chemicals, batteries, propane tanks, motor oil, pesticides, medical waste and flammable material are refused. Construction and demolition debris from contractor work is not a city responsibility, and the written bulky allowance is about four cubic yards per residence.
Self haul is allowed in Pine Bluff: the city code bars anyone other than the city and its contractors from collecting or hauling waste over city streets, but it lets the owner or producer of the refuse carry it to a properly licensed disposal facility in their own vehicle, and it warns that using an unauthorized hauler carries penalties under the city's contract provisions. The practical drop-off in the city is the county's electronic waste hub at 1800 East Harding behind Pope Furniture, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with a self-service site at the Jefferson County Road Department on West 7th Avenue, and the county asks that everything arrive pre-sorted.
