Each residential trash customer qualifies for one complimentary bulk item collection per calendar year, scheduled by appointment instead of a fixed cleanup week. Commercial businesses and communities on shared dumpsters are not eligible for the program.

Get it ready
Bag, box, bundle and tie everything. No single item over 50 pounds is collected. Cut branches and limbs to four foot lengths and tie them, and leave any appliance holding refrigerant with the licensed professional's evacuation certificate. Tires, oil, propane tanks, automobile batteries, hazardous waste, concrete, blocks, brick, asphalt, stone and dirt are refused, and no commercial, contractor or demolition debris is accepted.
The city answers the mattress question directly: mattresses are not recyclable and belong at the Transfer Station at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road, where the minimum load charge covers up to 300 pounds. A light mattress can also be offered to the annual appointment, but the appointment refuses anything over 50 pounds.
