Choose the right items

One computer setup can be several items.

A separate monitor and tower count separately. Small devices and cables have their own box option. Choose what is actually leaving so your price matches the pickup.

Monitor, desktop or laptop.

Choose Computer monitor for each separate display. Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. A laptop is its own item. Add only the devices going.

Printer or office copier.

A printer with a built-in scanner belongs under Printer. A floor-standing copy machine belongs under Office copier. The shape matters more than the brand.

A box of smaller electronics.

Use Box of electronics for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. For a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries, send a photo and confirm the fit before booking.

Televisions and electronics

Special rules apply

The City has no electronics collection of its own and sends residents to drop-off points around town, where a television or monitor can carry a deposit charge at the retailer.

City cost & eligibility
No City fee applies because the City does not run an electronics collection. A retailer in the City directory charges a deposit for a television or monitor 25 inches or larger and takes smaller electronics at no charge, and the county transfer station also appears on the City list for e-waste, so confirm the item and any charge with the drop-off you choose before loading the car.
When & how
Drop electronics at a location from the City directory, or at the Cochise County transfer station at 7201 E Highway 90, which opens Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Get it ready
Keep electronics out of the trash bin and off the special pickup pile, and wipe personal data from a computer, phone or drive before it leaves the property.

Arrange it
Deliver the load to 7201 E Highway 90 between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The station appears on the City's drop-off directory for construction debris, e-waste, paint, batteries, metal, motor oil, antifreeze, cardboard and tires.

The urban station charges by weight with a minimum per load rather than by the piece, and the per item bulky and mattress rates on the county schedule belong to the rural stations instead.

Retail electronics drop-off

Households with a television, a monitor, a computer, a phone or other small electronics.

Cost & conditions
From $59.99 for the published deposit charge for a television or monitor 25 inches or larger at the store listed in the City directory, with smaller items accepted at no charge. Household electronics brought to the store counter. Batteries are not accepted with the electronics.
Arrange it
Take the item to the store listed in the City directory for e-waste. Call ahead to confirm the current counter hours and whether the deposit has changed.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Sierra Vista has no City landfill, but the Cochise County transfer station at 7201 E Highway 90 sits inside the city limits and opens Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It is the drop-off the City directory names for construction debris, electronics, household paint, batteries, metals, motor oil, antifreeze, corrugated cardboard and up to five tires, and urban loads are weighed with a minimum charge per load while non-commercial household hazardous waste stays free. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Electronics removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Sierra Vista.

How much does electronics pickup cost in Sierra Vista?

A computer monitor is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Choose the actual devices and quantities to see your combined price online. A separate desktop tower and monitor are separate items. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; review the total and any applicable tax before payment.

Can you pick up old electronics today in Sierra Vista?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout and have the prepared items outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done. The booking is for a day, not an exact arrival time.

Does computer removal include my monitor and printer?

Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. Add a separate monitor, printer or laptop as its own item if it is going too. For small devices, cables and chargers together, choose Box of electronics and check the description before booking.

Do you erase data from old computers?

Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away. Completion photos confirm the pickup, not data destruction.Official guidance

Can I book one box of old cables and small electronics?

Yes. Box of electronics is an existing option for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. A monitor, desktop computer and printer each have their own item option. Send a photo before booking for a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries so we can confirm the fit.

Where can I take a television in Sierra Vista?

The City's drop-off directory lists the Best Buy at 2200 El Mercado Loop, which takes telephones, computer equipment, televisions and monitors and most other electronics, and the Cochise County transfer station at 7201 Highway 90 also appears on the list for e-waste. Televisions and monitors 25 inches or larger carry a deposit charge at the retailer and no batteries are accepted.Official guidance

Can electronics go in the trash bin?

No. The City asks residents to keep prohibited material out of the bin and use an approved disposal site, and electronics are not part of the special pickup route either. Use one of the drop-off points in the City directory instead.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Sierra Vista?

The City's Public Works Department collects residential trash twice a week, on either Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday, for addresses inside the city limits and at Fort Huachuca. City Ordinance requires sanitation service at residential properties, and trash and sewer are billed together every other month.Official guidance

Who do I call about a pickup?

Public Works at (520) 458-5775 answers trash, bulky item and green waste questions. Special pickups, bin problems and the dumpster rental program all go through the same number, and dumpster rental requests can also go to Utilities@SierraVistaAZ.gov or (520) 458-3315.Official guidance

Does Sierra Vista collect recycling at the curb?

No. The City ended curbside recycling in 2019 when global demand for recyclable materials fell, and it points residents to drop-off locations around the city instead. The City still runs its compost program, Christmas tree recycling, fats, oils and grease recycling and household hazardous waste disposal events.Official guidance
