Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment is not named on the bulk acceptable list, the bulk unacceptable list or the container rules, so a treadmill or weight machine has to be confirmed before it goes out.

No published rate covers an exercise machine, because the bulk list names furniture, patio furniture, non-Freon appliances and yard waste rather than fitness equipment. Confirm acceptance, the route and any charge with Field Operations at 623-936-7141.
When & how
Call 623-936-7141 before the zone pickup day, and if the machine is accepted put it on the registered bulk pile by 6 a.m. on the last Wednesday for the north zone or the last Thursday for the south zone.
Get it ready
Describe the machine, its size and whether it has a powered console, take the console or any battery pack off so nothing with a battery rides in the container, and keep the whole load inside the 3 cubic yard limit.
The monthly bulk pickup is a registered service, so the sequence runs the other way round from a regular trash day: sign up with Field Operations at 623-936-7141 or through the online request tool first, then set the pile out. Homes north of Van Buren Street are served on the last Wednesday of the month and homes south of it on the last Thursday, with everything at the curb by 6 a.m. and nothing out more than 48 hours early. Crews work a tight route and cannot come back once they pass a street.

No charge. Included in the residential sanitation service billed at 15 dollars a month for one trash and one recycling container, with additional containers available at 7 dollars and 50 cents each.
