If the mattress arrived through a qualifying IKEA delivery, IKEA lists no-charge removal in California, Connecticut, Oregon and Rhode Island when its conditions are met, including the request window after delivery. Prepare the mattress for collection
Follow the collection authority’s requirements for plastic sealing or other preparation, confirm the scheduled collection day, and check whether the mattress and box spring count as separate items. Set the item where it will not block sidewalks, driveways or other public access.
