Does Goodwill accept metal bed frames?

A metal bed frame and a mattress are separate donation questions. Ask whether the exact complete frame is accepted and whether the mattress is accepted; approval for one does not establish approval for the other.

A frame being made of recyclable metal does not establish that a Goodwill will accept it as a donation. If donation is refused, treat scrap recycling as a separate option and confirm the receiving facility’s rules before transport.

For an bed frame already outside and accessible, Dropcurb handles loading, transport and disposal. Its bed frame scope includes regular metal, wood and platform bed frames. You arrange moving the frame outside before pickup; indoor carry-out is not available. If you need indoor carrying, choose a service that includes that labor.
