Choose reuse or recycling
For boxes that are still usable, confirm that a nearby U-Haul company-owned location has a Take a Box Leave a Box area or use its Box Exchange. Check the location and box condition first; reuse depends on the actual site and available demand.
For damaged boxes and other cardboard, remove contents, keep the material clean and dry, flatten it, and follow your local recycling program’s rules.
