Household items and electronics go to the Recycle Center at 500 South Flower Street, where the Drop Zone takes computers, televisions, batteries, bulbs, cartridges and antifreeze on weekdays and where residents may bring one mattress and one box spring per household, while project material and auto parts go into a rented 2-yard or 3-yard temporary bin because the bulky pile refuses construction debris.
