Get it ready
Keep electronics out of the recycling and organics carts, because the hauler treats e-waste as a bulky item instead, and keep hazardous material such as batteries and cleaning products on the county hazardous waste route rather than in a cart.
Call the hauler up to seven days before the service day and no later than noon the day before, and describe the items that will be set out. A pickup takes up to five household items, the first one each quarter is free for a single-family home, items have to be liftable by two people, and loose trash is not picked up.
