Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

The bulky item program does not name exercise equipment, so confirm the machine with WM at (800) 423-9986 before booking it in. A self-haul load to a Riverside County landfill is charged the published gate fee, with the minimum routine refuse load at $43.20 for a load of 0.81 tons or less.

No charge. Three bulky item pickups per calendar year are free for residents with curbside cart service, each covering up to six bulky items or ten 32-gallon bags. Further pickups are available for a small fee that the guide does not state, so confirm the charge with WM.

The program names couches, washers, dryers, refrigerators and electronic waste, so confirm any other item when you book. Hazardous waste, tires, auto parts, construction waste and food scraps are refused, and items left beside a cart are not collected on a normal service day.

Cost & conditions
From $43.2 for the minimum routine refuse load at a Riverside County landfill. The schedule effective July 1, 2026 charges a minimum load fee of $43.20 for routine refuse of 0.81 tons or less, $57.10 for hard-to-handle refuse, $52.75 for mixed green refuse and $37.05 for clean green, plus $7.00 per appliance up to four a day, $6.00 per residential passenger or light truck tire up to five a day, and $25.00 for an uncovered or unsecured load. Mattresses hauled separately are free within the per-site daily limit.
Arrange it
Badlands Landfill is at 31125 Ironwood Avenue in Moreno Valley and Lamb Canyon Landfill is at 16411 Lamb Canyon Road in Beaumont, both open 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Stop at the scale house to pay, and follow staff directions to the recycling areas.
Hazardous waste, chemicals and chemically treated wood are refused, appliances must be declared and cannot be commingled with other waste, refrigerators must be emptied of food first, mattresses only stay free when hauled separately, and an uncovered or unsecured load is charged a surcharge.
