Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Exercise equipment appears on neither the acceptable nor the refused bulky list, so a treadmill or elliptical has to be confirmed with the hauler before it goes to the curb.

Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it will go, bag the small parts so nothing scatters, and keep the frame out of the carts. Take off any console or screen first, because electronics belong at the household hazardous waste route rather than the bulky pile.
Book the bulky pickup a week ahead and expect a per item price
Escondido bulky items do not ride the weekly truck. The hauler asks for a call at least a week before the regular collection day, then collects the item curbside for a set price per item, with refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners charged at a higher refrigerant handling rate. The published acceptable list is furniture, scrap metal, stoves, refrigerators, air conditioners, microwave ovens, water heaters and one television or computer monitor.

Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
Enter the combined weight in pounds for your dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Booking rounds that total up to the next 10 lb unit: 25 lb uses three units. Stands, racks and benches are separate items and do not include the loose weights. Add each one that is going.
