No charge. Fountain Valley residential customers on the Republic Services franchise, four free bulky item collections a year with up to 10 large items per collection.

Book the collection with Republic Services at (714) 847-3581 and set the appliance out on the collection day.
Get it ready
Empty the unit, secure the doors and keep it out of the carts. The qualifying list names ovens, built-in stove tops, range hoods, refrigerators, dishwashers, water heaters, water softeners, clothes washers and dryers, trash compactors and microwave ovens.
Trash, recycling and green waste carts go to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled pickup day and are stored out of public view by 9:00 p.m. that day. Collection can happen any time between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., so an early or late truck on the street is normal.
Four free bulky collections a year, ten items each
The 10/4 programme gives a Fountain Valley household four free bulky item collections a year with up to ten large items per collection, scheduled with Republic Services at (714) 847-3581. Bagged trash beyond the cart capacity may be included at no more than 40 pounds per sealed bag, and bundles of palm fronds or branches may be no longer than 4 feet and no heavier than 40 pounds each.

Yes. Add one Washing machine and one Dryer so both units are included in the price. They are separate items, even when you bought them as a set. If yours is a single combined unit or the machines still need to be unstacked, contact us before booking to confirm the scope.
Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+
Dropcurb picks up appliances that are already disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange uninstallation, utility disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Use a qualified professional for gas, hardwired or plumbing connections when needed. We handle loading and haul-away from the outdoor pickup spot.
Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.

Which carts does a Fountain Valley household have?+
