Choose the right items

One computer setup can be several items.

A separate monitor and tower count separately. Small devices and cables have their own box option. Choose what is actually leaving so your price matches the pickup.

Monitor, desktop or laptop.

Choose Computer monitor for each separate display. Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. A laptop is its own item. Add only the devices going.

Printer or office copier.

A printer with a built-in scanner belongs under Printer. A floor-standing copy machine belongs under Office copier. The shape matters more than the brand.

A box of smaller electronics.

Use Box of electronics for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. For a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries, send a photo and confirm the fit before booking.

The handoff matters

Right item.
Right place.

The curbside bulky allowance is six items at a time

A Menifee household may book four free bulky pickups a year, and each one covers up to six items combining bulky goods and white goods. The city also gives three free electronic waste pickups as part of the same service, and holiday trees are recycled free for the two weeks after the holiday. Everything is scheduled with the hauler rather than left out on a guess.

The drop off events have their own limits

The city's bulky item events run from 8 a.m. to noon or until the bins fill, require proof of Menifee residency, and provide no loading or unloading help, so residents off load their own items. Appliances are limited to three per vehicle and mattresses to three per vehicle, and electronic waste plus used tires without rims are accepted only at the February and September events, with the tire limit set at nine per vehicle.

What neither route will take

The drop off flyer prohibits batteries, bleach and tub or tile cleaner, construction waste, empty drums, engines and motor parts, explosives and ammunition, fertilizer and herbicides, fluorescent tubes, gasoline and diesel, hazardous waste, infectious waste, latex or oil paint, medications, motor oil, pool chemicals, propane tanks, sharps and tires, and the city routes those items to the county waste department instead. Riverside County takes them free at its household hazardous waste facilities, where appliances, tires and trash are refused and a trip is capped at 15 gallons or 125 pounds.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Menifee has two curbside routes and a county network behind them. A household books up to four free bulky pickups a year with Waste Management at (800) 423-9986, six items at a time, or drives its own load to one of the city's four bulky item drop off events, where residents unload their own material and appliances and mattresses are capped at three per vehicle. Anything hazardous goes to Riverside County, which takes paint, chemicals, oil, antifreeze, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, propane tanks, cleaners, needles and unused medication free at its permanent collection facilities in Beaumont and Lake Elsinore and at rotating temporary events, with a 15 gallon or 125 pound limit per trip and no appliances, tires or trash. Renovation material has no city route at all: construction waste is prohibited at the events, so a container or hauler is needed, and a self hauled county load has to be covered or secured to avoid the county's uncovered load surcharge. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Electronics removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Menifee.

How much does electronics pickup cost in Menifee?

A computer monitor is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Choose the actual devices and quantities to see your combined price online. A separate desktop tower and monitor are separate items. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; review the total and any applicable tax before payment.

Can you pick up old electronics today in Menifee?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates shown at checkout and have the prepared items outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done. The booking is for a day, not an exact arrival time.

Does computer removal include my monitor and printer?

Desktop computer covers one tower or one all-in-one computer. Add a separate monitor, printer or laptop as its own item if it is going too. For small devices, cables and chargers together, choose Box of electronics and check the description before booking.

Do you erase data from old computers?

Data erasure and certified data destruction are not included in Dropcurb removal. Back up the information you need, then follow the manufacturer’s sign-out and reset instructions before pickup. If a device cannot be erased or contains sensitive business information, arrange suitable data handling before giving it away. Completion photos confirm the pickup, not data destruction.Official guidance

Can I book one box of old cables and small electronics?

Yes. Box of electronics is an existing option for small devices, cables and chargers together in one box. A monitor, desktop computer and printer each have their own item option. Send a photo before booking for a large or heavy box, unusual contents or separate batteries so we can confirm the fit.

How do televisions and computers leave a Menifee home?

Three routes are published. The residential service includes three free electronic waste pickups a year with Waste Management at (800) 423-9986, the city's bulky item events accept electronic waste at the February and September dates, and the Riverside County household hazardous waste facilities take electronic waste free with a 15 gallon or 125 pound per trip limit.Official guidance

What do I need to bring to a bulky item event?

Proof of Menifee residency, and a vehicle you can unload yourself, because the city provides no loading or unloading assistance at the four events. The events run from 8 a.m. to noon or until the bins are full, appliances and mattresses are limited to three per vehicle, and electronic waste and used tires without rims are accepted only at the February and September dates.Official guidance
