You want to know it is handled.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.
A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Filled bags and boxes
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard and containers
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Furniture and other larger items
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Bulky pickups, drop off events and mixed household junk
Accepted with preparation
Menifee households may book four free bulky item pickups a year, each covering up to six items combining bulky and white goods, and the city runs four bulky item drop off events during the year. Both routes are part of a program the city describes as free, with the events limited by per-vehicle rules and the requirement that residents unload their own loads.
City cost & eligibility
No charge. Four free curbside bulky pickups a year for a Menifee household, each covering up to six items combining bulky and white goods, and free drop off at the city's four annual bulky item events with proof of Menifee residency.
When & how
Book a pickup with Waste Management at (800) 423-9986 or through home.wm.com/menifee, or attend an event from 8 a.m. to noon, noting that the bins close when full.
Get it ready
Describe the load when booking, keep the pile within the accepted list at an event, remember the appliance and mattress limits and the tire and electronic waste rules that apply only to the February and September events, and keep batteries, paint, chemicals, propane, fluorescent tubes, construction material and medical waste out of both routes.
The curbside bulky allowance is six items at a time
A Menifee household may book four free bulky pickups a year, and each one covers up to six items combining bulky goods and white goods. The city also gives three free electronic waste pickups as part of the same service, and holiday trees are recycled free for the two weeks after the holiday. Everything is scheduled with the hauler rather than left out on a guess.
The city's bulky item events run from 8 a.m. to noon or until the bins fill, require proof of Menifee residency, and provide no loading or unloading help, so residents off load their own items. Appliances are limited to three per vehicle and mattresses to three per vehicle, and electronic waste plus used tires without rims are accepted only at the February and September events, with the tire limit set at nine per vehicle.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.
