Appliances are part of the curbside bulky service, which the city describes as combining bulky and white goods, and the drop off events accept refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, air conditioners, microwaves and barbecue grills with a limit of three appliances per vehicle.

Empty the unit before it leaves, keep it upright and clear of the carts, count it against the six item curbside allowance or the three appliance event limit, and be ready to unload it yourself at an event.
The curbside bulky allowance is six items at a time
A Menifee household may book four free bulky pickups a year, and each one covers up to six items combining bulky goods and white goods. The city also gives three free electronic waste pickups as part of the same service, and holiday trees are recycled free for the two weeks after the holiday. Everything is scheduled with the hauler rather than left out on a guess.
The city's bulky item events run from 8 a.m. to noon or until the bins fill, require proof of Menifee residency, and provide no loading or unloading help, so residents off load their own items. Appliances are limited to three per vehicle and mattresses to three per vehicle, and electronic waste plus used tires without rims are accepted only at the February and September events, with the tire limit set at nine per vehicle.

Dropcurb picks up appliances that are already disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange uninstallation, utility disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. Select the old appliance, choose a pickup day and arrange for it to be disconnected and accessible outside. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.
