Get it ready
Empty the unit and keep volatile material out of it, because state law prohibits hazardous material in the containers and the hauler refuses hazardous waste, compressed gas cylinders and automotive fluids on the bulky route.
Trash, organics and recycling carts are set out with the wheels against the curb by 6:00 am on the regular collection day, side by side about one foot apart and at least three feet from parked vehicles or other objects, with a clear path so the truck can reach them. Bulky items, construction debris, electronic waste and automotive parts are not cart material, and hazardous material is prohibited in the containers by state law.
