We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.
Doors
Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.
Toilets
Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.
Bathroom vanities
Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction waste is refused in the landfill cart and no city page publishes a construction and demolition drop-off or rate, so a renovation load is arranged with the franchise hauler instead of being set out with the weekly carts.
City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction channel or price and the carts refuse the material, so the route and the cost come from the hauler or the container vendor, confirmed through Waste Management at (760) 439-2824 or the city Zero Waste team at (760) 435-4500.
When & how
Arrange the container or bag before the work starts, because nothing in the weekly collection takes demolition material. The hauler's own residential page promotes its bag product for remodelling, home and garage cleanups, and the vendor that sells the bag sets the collection terms.
Get it ready
Keep construction waste, auto parts, tires, paint, oil and other hazardous material out of every cart, and keep the load separated from household trash so it can be classified at the point of collection. Confirm the accepted material with the hauler before the container is filled.
Carts out by 6 a.m. with the lids closed and two feet of clearance
Carts may go out from 4 p.m. the day before service and must be at the curb by 6 a.m. on the service day with the wheels against the curb and the handles facing away from the street. Leave two feet of clearance from parked cars, mailboxes and other carts, keep carts out from under trees and overhead obstructions, close the lid completely, stay under the weight printed on the lid, and take the carts off the street by 11 p.m. after they are serviced.
Construction waste, tires, chemicals and electronics stay out of the carts
The landfill cart refuses construction waste, auto parts, tires, household hazardous waste such as paint, oil and cleaners, medical and electronic waste and food scraps. A cart that is overloaded or contaminated gets a notice of non-collection, the resident removes the material and waits for the next collection, and an additional fee may apply, so the recycled and organic streams stay separate.
Food scraps and green waste share the organics cart, and holiday trees follow
Since 2024 the green cart has taken food scraps and food-soiled paper along with green waste, collected weekly, with clear, translucent or compostable plastic bags allowed as liners and a free kitchen pail available from Waste Management. Holiday trees are collected starting the weekday after Christmas Day for three weeks, with stands and decorations removed, either in the organics cart with the lid closed or beside the landfill cart, and flocked trees are accepted but not recycled.

Cost & conditions
The bag is a vendor product that the hauler promotes for remodelling and garage cleanups, and the vendor sets both the bag price and the collection charge, so the total is confirmed when the collection is booked.
Arrange it
Buy the bag from a retailer, fill it on the property, then schedule its collection through the vendor that sells it.
Construction waste cannot go in the weekly carts, so this route exists for loads the carts refuse, and the vendor's terms govern what the bag may contain and when it is collected.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Oceanside?+

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?+
Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.
Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?+
Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.
