Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.
You do not need a whole house of junk. Select the bags, boxes and larger items you actually have. Your combined price is shown online.
When the next collection does not fit your plans, choose a Dropcurb pickup day. Updates keep you informed, and completion photos show when the booked items are gone.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Ontario residents get four free bulky item collections a calendar year, each limited to five large items, plus four community cleanup events a year at the Public Works yard. The acceptable bulky list covers furniture and mattresses, appliances and water heaters, bundled or bagged green waste, electronic waste and carpet.
Furniture is named at the top of Ontario's acceptable bulky item list, so a couch leaves on one of the four free appointments a year rather than at the curb unscheduled.
Mattresses are named in Ontario's acceptable bulky list, and the department's own annual metrics report more than three thousand mattress collections, so the unit leaves on a scheduled appointment.
Appliances and water heaters are named in Ontario's acceptable bulky list, and the department reports white goods among the material collected at its cleanup events.
Electronic waste such as televisions, computers and stereo equipment is accepted both in the bulky collection and at the city household hazardous waste facility, where the programme is free.
Exercise equipment is not named on Ontario's bulky list or at the household hazardous waste facility, so the route has to be confirmed with the city before the machine goes out.
The handoff matters
Ontario bulky items are collected by appointment, and a single-family residence may schedule up to four a calendar year with no more than five large items in each. The city publishes two scheduling lines, (909) 395-2050 on the bulky item page and (909) 395-2800 on the Integrated Waste page. Apartment and condominium residents book through their property manager, and businesses pay a fee instead of using the residential allowance.

Yes. Estimate how many trash bags the small household pile would fill, and bag or box as much as possible. Select furniture and other larger items separately. There is no extra charge just because the pile is loose. Send a photo first if the count or contents are unclear. A household Dumpster Bag choice does not accept construction debris.
Yes. Select the bags and boxes, then add each larger item using its own catalog choice. The booking shows one combined price for the selected items. Move everything to an accessible outdoor spot before pickup; indoor carrying and sorting are not included. Keep anything you want to retain apart from the booked items and identify what goes in your photos and notes.

Yes. Since January 1, 2022 SB 1383 has applied to all Ontario residents, single-family homes and apartments or condominiums alike, and the existing green waste bin also collects food waste.
