Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Text us about your setup
  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Televisions and electronics

Accepted with preparation

Electronic waste cannot go in the containers or in a county landfill. Riverside County household hazardous waste facilities take televisions, computers, printers and similar devices free from county residents, and CR&R also collects e-waste from the curb by appointment.

City cost & eligibility
County household hazardous waste facilities take electronic waste free from county residents, with containers no larger than five gallons or 50 pounds. CR&R collects e-waste from the curb by appointment for a charge it quotes when you book.
When & how
Drop off at the Moreno Valley antifreeze, battery, oil and paint facility at Badlands Landfill, open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or at the Agua Mansa permanent facility on non-holiday Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call CR&R at (951) 943-1991 for a curbside collection instead.
Get it ready
Remove data from computers, phones and drives, keep electronics out of the containers and out of the landfill load, and bring the device whole rather than dismantled.

CR&R Waste Services

Book a curbside e-waste or refrigerator collection

A household with a refrigerator, freezer or electronic device that the containers will not take.

Cost & conditions
CR&R states a nominal charge for a curbside refrigerator or e-waste collection and publishes no amount, so confirm the charge and the collection day at (951) 943-1991 before booking.
Arrange it
Set up the online account with the account number and access code, or call (951) 943-1991, and schedule the collection for your regular pickup day.

The county household hazardous waste facilities take electronic waste free but refuse appliances, so a refrigerator has to go through the hauler or the transfer station rather than the county site.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

A Perris household that hauls its own load can use the CR&R transfer station at 1706 Goetz Road, where trash and debris are accepted for a fee that the station quotes, or a Riverside County landfill such as Badlands on Ironwood Avenue in Moreno Valley, open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. County landfills take up to five mattresses or box springs per day at no charge when they are kept out of the mixed trash, and a load has to be covered or secured. Household chemicals and electronic waste never go to a landfill; they go free to the county facilities at Badlands or Agua Mansa for county residents. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Perris.

How much does TV removal cost in Perris?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Perris?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Where do televisions and computers go in Perris?

To a Riverside County household hazardous waste facility, free for county residents. The closest are the Moreno Valley facility at Badlands Landfill on Ironwood Avenue, open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the Agua Mansa permanent facility on non-holiday Saturdays. CR&R also collects e-waste from the curb by appointment at (951) 943-1991 for a quoted charge.Official guidance
