Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction materials are refused on the bulky route, and Rialto publishes no city construction collection or drop-off, so a project load goes to the county landfill for a fee.

City cost & eligibility
The city publishes no construction rate, and the clean-up day flyer states that free dumping at the landfill is not part of those events, so regular landfill fees apply. Confirm the load and the current charges with the San Bernardino County Solid Waste Management Division at 909-386-8701.
When & how
Arrange the self-haul or private container route before the work starts, and keep the material out of the bulky pile and every curbside container, because rocks, concrete and dirt cannot go in any cart.
Get it ready
Separate concrete, dirt and rock from the rest of the debris, since those cannot go in any curbside container, and route paint, solvents and chemicals to the household hazardous waste site instead of the load.

What belongs in each cart

The blue cart takes unbagged recyclables such as plastic jugs, aluminum and tin cans, paper, cardboard, cartons and clean aerosol cans, the black cart takes trash, and the green cart takes green waste and bagged food waste. The green cart takes branches smaller than six inches in diameter, grass clippings, leaves, palm fronds, prunings, twigs and weeds, while larger branches, cactus and pet waste go in the black cart. Rocks, concrete and dirt cannot go in any curbside container, and excess green waste can be bundled beside the green cart in bundles no larger than eighteen inches in diameter and four feet long.

Haul the project load to the county landfill

Rialto projects with construction or demolition material that the city routes refuse.

Cost & conditions
The city publishes no landfill rate and warns that free landfill dumping is not part of the clean-up days, so regular fees apply. Confirm the load and the current charges with the San Bernardino County Solid Waste Management Division at 909-386-8701.
Arrange it
Call the county division at 909-386-8701 to confirm the receiving facility, the accepted material and the current fees before the load leaves the site.

Construction materials are refused on the bulky route and rocks, concrete and dirt cannot go in any curbside container, so this is the only route the city points to for renovation debris.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Rialto runs the collection through Burrtec Waste Industries under the city's Solid Waste Management Office, and the first place to call is 909-877-1596. A single family household gets two free bulky item pickups a calendar year, with up to two rimless tires free on each, and the city adds four Community Clean-Up Days a year at 150 S. Palm Ave., where residents with proof of residency bring furniture, mattresses, scrap metal, toilets, wood, branches and yard trimmings for free and drop off televisions, computers, monitors and other electronics. Electronics also leave on a scheduled e-waste pickup booked through customer service for the next service day. Paint, oil, cleaners, pesticides, batteries, fuels and sharps go to the household hazardous waste site behind 246 S. Willow Ave. on Fridays and Saturdays, which is free to county residents but refuses electronics and large appliances. Construction material has no city route: it goes to the county landfill, where regular fees apply even during the clean-up days. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Rialto.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Rialto?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Rialto?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Does Rialto collect construction debris?

No. Construction materials are named among the items the bulky item service will not pick up, and rocks, concrete and dirt cannot go in any curbside container. A project load goes to the San Bernardino County landfill through the Solid Waste Management Division at 909-386-8701, and the clean-up day flyer warns that free landfill dumping is not part of those events, so regular fees apply.Official guidance

Where do Rialto paint, oil and batteries go?

To the household hazardous waste site behind 246 South Willow Ave. in Rialto, entered by the south driveway and open Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the twice monthly dates. It is free to all San Bernardino County residents and takes paint, motor oil and filters, cleaners, pesticides, antifreeze, fuels, pool supplies, propane tanks, sharps, medications, batteries and fluorescent bulbs, with loads limited to 15 gallons or 125 pounds in containers no larger than 5 gallons. Electronics and large appliances are refused there.Official guidance
