Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

  1. Arrange the removal work

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction and demolition debris is refused in the clean-up program and in every collection container. The route is a debris box, which Alameda County Industries rents by box size with a per pull charge and a tonnage charge.

City cost & eligibility
From $287.01 per pull for a 10 cubic yard construction and demolition debris box. Rates valid July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, plus a tonnage charge of $204.62 per ton. A $500 deposit applies to boxes up to 20 cubic yards and $1,000 to larger boxes.
When & how
Order the debris box from Alameda County Industries at 510-357-7282 at least two business days before the delivery or pickup date you need.
Get it ready
Keep dirt, rock, brick, sod and concrete out of a mixed construction box because those materials need the 10 yard box on their own, keep pressure-treated lumber out entirely because treated wood waste is not accepted, and do not fill the box above its edge.

With a new purchase

Order a debris box for project material

A household or contractor with construction, demolition, renovation or landscaping material that the clean-up program refuses.

Cost & conditions
From $287.01 per pull for a 10 cubic yard construction and demolition debris box. Rates valid July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, plus a tonnage charge of $204.62 per ton. A $500 deposit applies to boxes up to 20 cubic yards and $1,000 to larger boxes.
Arrange it
Call Alameda County Industries at 510-357-7282 at least two business days before the delivery or pickup you need, and place the box where the driver can reach it.

Dirt, rock, brick, sod and concrete must be collected on their own in the 10 yard box rather than mixed with other construction material, pressure-treated lumber and other treated wood waste are not accepted, hazardous waste is not allowed in any box, and an overfilled or contaminated box is charged at the loose garbage rate.

Check local arrangements

Taking it somewhere yourself?

San Leandro households can haul their own hazardous waste and electronics to any of the four free Alameda County drop-off facilities, with the nearest at 2100 East 7th Street in Oakland, without an appointment. Bring identification showing the county address, keep the load under 125 pounds or 15 gallons per visit, and leave medications and large appliances out because the facilities refuse them and send appliances back to the hauler. Construction and landscaping material goes into an Alameda County Industries debris box instead, because the clean-up program and the containers both refuse it. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in San Leandro.

How much does construction debris removal cost in San Leandro?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in San Leandro?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Can construction debris go in a San Leandro container?

No. Construction and demolition debris is refused in the clean-up program and in every collection container. Alameda County Industries rents debris boxes from 10 to 40 cubic yards for these loads, and the order is placed at 510-357-7282 at least two business days ahead.Official guidance
