Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Dropcurb pickup starts outside. Arrange indoor carrying, stairs and any dismantling needed to get your equipment out before pickup. Check the moving instructions for your exact model and arrange suitable help. We load and haul away the equipment from an accessible outdoor spot.
Which option covers a Peloton, spin bike or recumbent bike?+
Choose Exercise bike for one stationary bike, including spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes. Peloton and other brands use the same stationary-bike choice. A treadmill, walking pad and outdoor bicycle are different items, so select their matching options.
How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
Enter the combined weight in pounds for your dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Booking rounds that total up to the next 10 lb unit: 25 lb uses three units. Stands, racks and benches are separate items and do not include the loose weights. Add each one that is going.

What happens at the household hazardous waste facility?+
The city facility at 2010 Conejo Center Drive in Newbury Park takes paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, batteries, used oil, antifreeze, propane cylinders, fluorescent bulbs and electronics from residents of Thousand Oaks and unincorporated Ventura County on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. An appointment is required, online registration closes at 5 p.m. the day before, a load is limited to 15 gallons or 125 pounds, and Clean Harbors schedules appointments at 800-356-8570.Official guidance
What is free landfill day and who can use it?+
The city opens the Calabasas Landfill at 5300 Lost Hills Road in Agoura Hills from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on published dates, which are March 28, June 20 and September 26 in 2026, for Thousand Oaks residents who are current Athens customers. A resident with identification may bring up to two loads of trash, green waste, concrete, dirt, asphalt, bulky items or construction material in a car or pickup, and up to five loose passenger tires, with no late entry and no commercial or landscaping loads.Official guidance
Do apartments and complexes with shared bins get the same service?+
Multi family dwellings with individual carts are covered by the single family rate sheet and by the same two collections and six item large item allowance, but a complex with centralized bin service is billed under a separate multi family and mixed use rate schedule.
