Get it ready
Break the machine down as far as it will go so it can be handled and separated at the site, take off any console or battery pack so it can be handled with the electronics, and cover the load with a tarp before the gate.
Carts go out the night before and bulky items never go in a cart
Cart wheels should touch the curb with the handles facing the house, carts need three feet of clearance on all sides from signs, poles and cars, and they go out the night before because collection starts at 4:30 a.m. Garbage and recyclables are collected weekly and recycling runs every other week from the free 95 gallon blue cart.
