The annual voucher covers one free load for a single-family home. After that the landfill sets its own rate and Woodland publishes none, so confirm the charge at (530) 666-8729 before hauling.

Haul the mattress to the Yolo County Central Landfill at 44090 County Road 28H in Woodland, on the annual voucher load or as a separate trip.
Get it ready
A mattress does not go into any curbside cart. Universal waste such as batteries, televisions and fluorescent lamps is illegal in a landfill load and is routed to the separate drop-off programs.
Set carts out weekly by 6 a.m. on the service day, even when they are not full, and bring them back in within 24 hours after service. Waste Management does not operate on the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day, and a service day that falls on or after a holiday is delayed by one day for the rest of that week.
