Get it ready
Keep the mattress dry and bring box springs separately so each unit can be handled on its own. Do not leave either at the curb, because the city runs no curbside bulky pickup.
The Trash Bash runs Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25 and Friday September 18 and Saturday September 19 in 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, at the Brighton Wastewater Treatment Facility, 325 North Kuner Rd, using the Brighton Street entrance. Bring a city water bill or other proof of residence plus identification, because the programme is for City of Brighton residents and commercial or industrial loads are turned away.
The city offers a Trash Bash pick-up service for the elderly or residents with special needs on Tuesday April 21 and Wednesday April 22 and Tuesday September 15 and Wednesday September 16 in 2026. Request the pickup at 303-655-2087.
