Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Construction and demolition debris

Not on the regular city route

Construction related materials are on the refused list for the Spring Clean-Up, and the Village runs no collection of its own, so a renovation load moves with a private container company the household or contractor hires. Reusable building material, tools and fixtures can go to a Habitat for Humanity outlet instead.

City cost & eligibility
The Village publishes no construction rate because it provides no collection, and the county names the private market as the provider, so a container company or receiving facility quotes the load. Donation of reusable material through Habitat for Humanity has no charge.
When & how
A container is delivered and collected on a date arranged with the company the household hires, and donation drop-offs follow the outlet's opening hours.
Get it ready
Keep construction material out of the spring event because construction related materials are refused there, separate clean concrete, wood and metal where the receiving site asks for it, and set reusable doors, fixtures and lumber aside for donation.

What the village event will not take

Mattresses and box springs, large appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers and vacuums, CRT tube or projection televisions, construction related materials, tires, medicines and prescriptions, biological waste, asbestos, ammunition and explosives, commercial supplies, incandescent bulbs and smoke detectors are all refused. Hazardous chemicals are accepted only in proper containers, because leaking or empty containers, unknown or unlabelled material, insecticides and radioactive items are turned away.

A private hauler is the household's own arrangement

Because the Village does not provide residential trash or recycling, each household contracts with a private company, and the Village keeps no comprehensive list of providers. Anything that misses the spring event or is refused there goes through that private company, so the item list, the service day and the price are settled with the hauler rather than with the Village.

Use the specialist route for bedding, appliances and electronics

The Village publishes its own short list of hard-to-recycle routes: a mattress recycler for bedding, a scrap metal yard for most large appliances, a Denver electronics recycler that takes household electronics, computers and televisions on weekdays and Saturdays with no appointment, a battery retailer for rechargeable and lead-acid batteries, donation outlets for reusable building material and appliances, and auto parts stores for used motor oil.

With a new purchase

Contract a private hauler for everything else

A household that needs regular collection or a bulky pickup, since the Village provides neither.

Cost & conditions
The Village provides no collection and keeps no comprehensive list of providers, so each private company quotes its own service levels and bulky item prices.
Arrange it
Choose a private trash company that serves the address and arrange regular service or a bulky item collection directly with it.

There is no village rate and no village pickup to fall back on, and each hauler decides which items it will take and what it charges.

Donate furniture, appliances and building material

A household with usable furniture, working appliances, tools or building material left over from a project.

Cost & conditions
No charge. Donation rather than disposal, with Habitat for Humanity Home Improvement Outlets taking new and used building materials including tools, furniture and appliances at no charge.
Arrange it
Take the items to a Habitat for Humanity Home Improvement Outlet, or arrange a donation with another charity the household prefers.

Only usable items are wanted, so damaged furniture, non-working appliances and contaminated material still go through the hauler or the scrap yard.

Taking it somewhere yourself?

Cherry Hills Village provides no curbside collection and no bulky pickup route, so a household either contracts a private hauler or uses the one municipal event of the year. The Spring Clean-Up runs one day only, on Saturday May 16, 2026 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Public Works Facility, 2101 W Quincy Avenue in Sheridan, and residents with a driver's licence showing a village address can bring bagged trash including bulky items and furniture, up to two loads of yard debris, paper for shredding, paint, batteries, fluorescent tubes and lamp fixtures, consumer electronics and flat screen televisions up to 48 inches. Mattresses, large appliances, CRT televisions, construction material, tires, medicines and hazardous material in improper containers are refused there. For those items the village lists dedicated routes: Spring Back Colorado in Commerce City for fee-based mattress recycling with pickup available, Western Metal Recycling for most large appliances, Blue Star Recyclers in Denver for household electronics and televisions on weekdays and Saturdays, Habitat for Humanity outlets for reusable building material and appliances, auto parts stores for used motor oil, and a door-to-door chemical pickup through Waste Management At Your Door, booked at 800-449-7587 with a resident co-payment and a village contribution while funds last. The nearest general landfill is the Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site at 3500 S. Gun Club Road in Aurora, owned by the City and County of Denver and operated by Waste Management, and it takes non-hazardous waste, with hours and gate rates confirmed by phone. Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Cherry Hills Village.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Cherry Hills Village?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Cherry Hills Village?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

Where does Cherry Hills Village renovation material go?

Not to the Spring Clean-Up, because construction related materials are on the refused list. The Village provides no collection and Arapahoe County states that trash and recycling services in the area come from private companies, so a renovation orders a container from a private company or hauls to a receiving facility, and reusable building materials, tools and fixtures can be donated to a Habitat for Humanity Home Improvement Outlet.Official guidance

Does Cherry Hills Village provide trash collection?

No. The Village does not provide residential trash or recycling, so each household contracts with a private company, and the Village keeps no comprehensive list of providers. The only collection the Village itself runs is the one-day Spring Clean-Up each May at the Public Works Facility on West Quincy Avenue, plus a holiday tree drop-off from the day after Christmas through January 31.Official guidance

Where do mattresses, appliances and electronics go in Cherry Hills Village?

The Village points residents to a mattress recycler in Commerce City for fee-based mattress and box spring recycling with pickup available, to Western Metal Recycling for most large appliances, to Blue Star Recyclers at 953 Decatur Street in Denver for household electronics and televisions with no appointment on weekdays and Saturdays, and to Habitat for Humanity outlets for reusable appliances and building material. Vehicle batteries and lead-acid batteries go to a Batteries Plus store in Littleton.Official guidance
