A working appliance can be donated, since the Habitat Metro Denver ReStores consider appliances for donation with staff approval, but the ReStores refuse non working appliances. An appliance that cannot be donated goes to the landfill gate with the rest of a self hauled load, and the appliance has to be empty before it leaves.
