Match your item

Construction cleanup starts with the right items.

We currently accept the doors, toilets and bathroom vanities listed here, already detached and ready outside. Choose each item separately. Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted, including in bags.

Doors

Count each detached door panel separately. Have it removed from its hinges before pickup. A whole installed doorway or garage door is not the same item.

Toilets

Choose Toilet for an ordinary household toilet that has already been disconnected, drained and moved outside. Text a photo before booking if yours is broken or has loose sharp pieces.

Bathroom vanities

Choose the small, standard or large bathroom vanity that matches your sink cabinet. A makeup table has a separate choice. Plumbing disconnection and removal from the wall happen before pickup.

Have the fixture safely detached and any plumbing or electrical connections handled by an appropriate professional. We do not remove installed fixtures or perform demolition.

  2. Keep the booked items separate

Have the fixtures empty and ready at ground level. Keep them apart from rubble, loose renovation materials, tools and anything you want to keep.

  3. Show the outdoor handoff

Construction and demolition debris

Special rules apply

Concrete, dirt, sod, asphalt and tree trunks are charged as rubble by the cubic yard at the Larimer County Landfill, shingles and drywall carry their own published rates, and a roll-off container is charged by the ton with a one ton minimum. The Timberline Recycling Center also takes clean concrete, brick, rock, tile and porcelain in loads up to ten cubic yards, and untreated unpainted wood is priced by the cubic yard there.

City cost & eligibility
From $40 per cubic yard of rubble such as concrete, dirt, sod, asphalt and tree trunks at the Larimer County Landfill, with shingles, drywall and roll-off containers on separate published rates. Residential and contractor loads at the Larimer County Landfill; the Timberline Recycling Center takes clean aggregates instead, with its entry fee and a ten cubic yard limit.
When & how
Deliver debris during landfill hours, Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A roll-off is scheduled with a hauler and dropped at the landfill on the same gate schedule.
Get it ready
Separate unpainted untreated wood from treated or painted material, because the county refuses treated wood and painted wood, and pull metal and plastic out of clean concrete and porcelain before a drop-off at the recycling center.

Cover and secure any load taken to a county site

Unsecured or uncovered loads are charged double at every Larimer County solid waste location, so tarp and tie down anything headed to the landfill or the recycling center. Both sites close for mud, wind and severe weather, and the county posts current restrictions on its solid waste home page.

City of Fort Collins and Larimer County

City hard-to-recycle drop-off at the Timberline Recycling Center

A household with electronics, batteries, paint, motor oil, clean aggregates or unpainted wood that does not belong in a curbside cart.

Cost & conditions
From $5 for entry fee for the hard-to-recycle materials yard, with additional per-item or per-cubic-yard fees on electronics, wood waste and yard trimmings. Residents and commercial customers; batteries, antifreeze, motor oil and cooking oil are limited to residential loads, and the everyday recyclables yard stays free.
Arrange it
Load the material yourself, drive to the center, and unload it in the hard-to-recycle yard, where staff can point out the right drop-off spot.

The center offers no pickup service, commercial customers cannot bring batteries, and the appliance and Freon items, propane tanks and other pressurized containers are refused. Confirm the current hours before a trip.

Opt out of the City contract and use your own licensed hauler

A household or small multi-family building that wants a different collector for carts, bulky items or service days than the contracted collector offers.

Cost & conditions
$11.41 per month opt-out fee for a household that keeps its own licensed hauler instead of the contracted collector, with a separate City administrative fee added to the bill. Single family homes and small multi-family buildings of seven units or fewer inside Fort Collins city limits; not paying the service or opt-out fee is a City Code violation.
Arrange it
Confirm the account with a hauler that holds a City hauler license, then file the opt-out with the City so the contract charge is replaced by the opt-out fee.

Every hauler collecting recycling, compost or waste in Fort Collins has to hold a City license and report data twice a year, so an unlicensed collector is not an option.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

Construction debris removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Fort Collins.

How much does construction debris removal cost in Fort Collins?

Pricing is per accepted item. A detached door is $99 as a single item, an ordinary toilet is $79, and a small bathroom vanity is $99. Larger vanities have their own choices. Select the listed items to see the exact combined price. These prices do not cover mixed rubble or loose building materials. Loading, transportation and disposal are included; applicable sales tax appears before payment.

Can I get same-day toilet or vanity pickup in Fort Collins?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Arrange disconnection, removal and the move outside first, then have the fixture ready by the time in your confirmation. We text you before arrival and provide pickup photos when it is done.

Will you disconnect a sink or take a door off its hinges?

The fixture must already be detached, disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange plumbing, electrical work, removal from walls or hinges, and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb handles loading and haul-away from your outdoor pickup spot.

Can I add bags of drywall, tile or other demolition waste?

Mixed drywall, tile, concrete, lumber and demolition rubble are not accepted. This page offers pickup for the listed doors, toilets and bathroom vanities that are already removed. Do not book loose building materials as household trash bags or as an extra item. Arrange suitable disposal for those materials with your contractor or a debris specialist.

Can a door, toilet and vanity go in the same pickup?

Yes. Add each listed fixture separately and choose the correct vanity size. Each detached door panel counts as one item. The combined price appears before you book. Keep the fixtures together outside, separate from anything staying, and add a location photo on your order page.

How is a roll-off container charged?

A roll-off load, whether loose or compacted, is charged by the ton with a one ton minimum at the Larimer County Landfill, while rubble such as clean concrete, dirt and sod is charged by the cubic yard instead.Official guidance

Who collects trash in Fort Collins?

Fort Collins contracts with Republic Services to collect curbside trash, recycling and seasonal yard trimmings from single family homes and small multi-family buildings of seven units or fewer. A household can opt out and use a different hauler that holds a City license, and it pays an opt-out fee to the City instead of the contract charge.Official guidance
