The town issues Clean-Up Days vouchers for one free trip to the Front Range Landfill. For the 2026 fall event, registration runs from Monday, September 28 through October 17 and the vouchers are accepted at the landfill from October 12 through October 24 during regular hours.

No charge. One voucher per Town of Mead household or property owner, good for one load up to one ton at the Front Range Landfill. A load is a single vehicle or truck with items, or a single trailer with items, and a truck pulling a trailer counts as two loads, with extra weight or items billed by the landfill to the resident.
When & how
Register online between Monday, September 28 and October 17 to receive the voucher by email with a unique identification number, then take the load to the landfill between October 12 and October 24 during its regular hours, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Get it ready
Cover every load, because the landfill charges double for an uncovered or unsecured load. Keep the load to one ton, keep a trailer separate from the vehicle load, and wear a high visibility safety vest with ANSI compliant reflective striping if you leave the vehicle, since the town covers one vest per household and additional vests are available on site for a fee.

Arrange it
