$26.22 per item for sofas, chairs or other furniture on a bulky item pickup. Residential accounts on the Town of Superior contract; the town asks households to call ahead for large items, and the hauler schedules bulk pickups by phone or online, so confirm that the piece is eligible before it is set out.
When & how
Schedule the bulky pickup with Republic Services at 303-286-0800 or through the online account, or call ahead as the town asks, and put the piece out by 7 a.m. on the collection day.
Get it ready
Set the piece at the curb on the scheduled day with the carts, keeping three feet between carts and eight feet from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, lamp posts and power lines. Electronics, batteries, tires, refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are not eligible for a bulky pickup and need their own route.
The town contract covers some neighbourhoods and not others
Superior's waste service runs under a Republic Services contract that started on March 31, 2025, with the cost based on the garbage cart size and three carts for garbage, recycling and compost. The town lists the neighbourhoods on that contract, and it states that garbage, recycling and opt-in compost for Rock Creek, Saddlebrooke and the Summit come from the Rock Creek Master Homeowners Association through its own Waste Connections contract until 2028, after which those areas join the town service. Service reminders are the same either way: garbage bagged, recycling and yard waste loose, carts at the curb by 7 a.m. on Mondays, three feet apart and eight feet from obstacles.
A bulky pickup is priced per item and some items are excluded
Bulky pickups on the town contract are paid rather than included, and the hauler publishes the prices per item for furniture, mattresses and non-refrigerant appliances. The same page lists electronics, batteries, tires, refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners as not eligible for bulk pickup and sends them to Eco-Cycle's Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials in Boulder. Pickups are booked by phone or online, and the town asks residents to call ahead for large items.

Confirm eligibility and the total when the pickup is booked, because electronics, batteries, tires, refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners are not eligible.

Open Sectional in the sofa choices, count its structural sections, and select any sleeper or reclining feature. Count the sections with their own bases, not loose cushions. The matching catalog choice covers one complete sectional of that configuration. Text a photo before booking if you are unsure.
Will you carry my couch out of my apartment?+
Dropcurb starts outside. Arrange for the sofa to be moved through the apartment and down interior stairs before pickup. We load and haul it away from an accessible outdoor spot. Arrange any dismantling needed to get it outside beforehand.
Do I need to wait at home for couch pickup?+
