Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

No charge. An exercise bike or a treadmill is accepted free of charge at the annual drop off day, counted inside the five item limit for the household, while other fitness machines are not named on either list and should be confirmed with the city.
When & how
Bring the machine to Anderson Park on the published date between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. and unload it yourself, and call the city first if the machine is not a bike or a treadmill.
Get it ready
Take the machine down as far as it will come apart and keep the loose weights with it. Anything with a lithium battery is refused, so remove and keep any battery pack out of the load.

How do I book free weights, a weight rack or a bench?+
