Match the screen

Flat screen or tube? Start with the shape.

The TV’s type and size determine which item to choose. A new model and an old model can use the same option if their shape and screen size match.

Flat-screen TVs

Measure the screen diagonally, corner to corner, without the frame. Choose under 42 inches or 42 inches and larger. A TV measuring exactly 42 inches belongs to the larger option.

Tube TVs

An older tube or CRT television has curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Choose Tube TV even if its screen is small. A rear-projection TV is different; send a photo before booking so we can check the fit.

TV stands and other electronics

The TV price covers the television. Add a media console, computer monitor or other item separately if it is going too. Choose only what you want removed and review the combined price.

Ready outside. Taken from there.

Your TV can stay inside while you book. Before pickup, arrange to have it disconnected, taken down if mounted and moved to an accessible outdoor spot.

Text us about your setup
  1. Arrange any unmounting first.

Dropcurb does not remove TVs from walls or do indoor carrying. Arrange the help you need before pickup day, including the trip down interior stairs or through an elevator.

  2. Choose a permitted outdoor spot.

Use a stable, accessible location with a clear path for loading. Keep the TV separate from anything staying. Check building rules before placing it in a shared pickup area.

  3. Show us the TV that is going.

Add a location photo and access notes after booking. Follow the readiness instructions in your confirmation. For exposed broken glass or unusual damage, send a photo and check with us before booking.

Chemicals and electronics go to a county center, not the curb

There is no curbside collection for household hazardous waste or electronics. Palm Beach County residents take batteries, propane cylinders, used motor oil and filters, cooking oil, oil-based paint and solvents, pesticides, fertilizers, pool chemicals, cleaners, aerosols, fluorescent bulbs and electronic items to one of the Solid Waste Authority's seven Home Chemical and Recycling Centers, free of charge, and the county runs the sharps depository program separately because sharps may not go in the garbage or recycling.

Before you book

A few things
worth knowing.

TV removal, from choosing your item to pickup day in Boynton Beach.

How much does TV removal cost in Boynton Beach?

A flat-screen TV under 42 inches is $79 as the first item and $19 as an additional item. Larger flat screens and tube TVs have their own prices. Loading, transportation and disposal are included. Choose the type that matches your TV and review your total, including any applicable tax, before payment.

Can I get same-day TV pickup in Boynton Beach?

Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup. Choose from the dates offered at checkout and have the TV outside according to your confirmation. We text you when your hauler is on the way and provide photos when the pickup is done.

Will Dropcurb remove my TV from the wall or carry it downstairs?

You arrange unmounting, disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Dropcurb starts at an accessible outdoor location, where we load your TV and take it away. If you need help removing a mounted TV or moving a heavy tube TV outside, arrange that separately before your pickup day.

Do you pick up old tube or CRT televisions?

Yes. Choose Tube TV for an older television with curved glass and a deep, heavy body. Its price is $249 as the first item and $249 as an additional item. A rear-projection television is a different item; send a photo before booking rather than choosing the tube-TV option.

Does my old TV have to work?

Your TV does not need to turn on for removal. Choose its type and size and arrange to have it outside before pickup. A non-working TV and a TV with exposed broken glass are different situations; send a photo of unusual damage so we can confirm the plan before you book.

Where do Boynton Beach televisions and computers go?

To a Home Chemical and Recycling Center run by the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority, where electronics are accepted free from county residents, because there is no curbside collection for them. The nearest are at 1810 Lantana Road in Lantana and at the Southwest County transfer station, 13400 S State Road 7 in Delray Beach.Official guidance
