Get it ready
Keep construction and demolition debris, concrete, soil, rocks, gypsum, lumber, chain-link or wood fence materials, metal, land clearing debris and excavated fill out of the bulky pile entirely, and remember that domestic garbage must not be mixed with bulky debris.
Place bulky and yard waste at least five feet from vehicles, mailboxes, fences, fire hydrants, trees, utility poles and other obstacles, and away from low hanging branches and overhead utility lines. Materials go in front of the property where they were generated, large pieces of carpet are rolled, tied or securely bundled, and items blocked by a vehicle or another obstacle are not collected.
