Empty the unit and keep it out of the brown garbage container, which must not take vehicle batteries, paint or chemicals, and off the recycling cart. Keep it five feet clear of vehicles, mailboxes, fences and hydrants so it is not blocked.
Garbage is collected twice a week in the brown 96 gallon container, recycling twice a month in the green 96 gallon container, and bulky and yard waste once a month. All three go out the night before collection or before 6 a.m. on the collection day. Containers sit on the swale with the wheels facing the property, at least five feet from vehicles, mailboxes, fences, fire hydrants, trees, light poles and other carts, and clear of low hanging branches and overhead lines. Domestic garbage must not be combined with yard or bulky debris.
