Place approved bulky items out no more than three days before the appointment and by 7 a.m. that day. Keep the pile within 10 feet of the street, at least five feet from obstacles, and leave at least 15 feet of overhead clearance.
An apartment or shared dumpster does not automatically include county bulky appointments. Ask the building manager which provider and set-out area apply, and confirm gate access and association instructions before moving the item. Keep the county clearance requirements when using its appointment service.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

$32 per cubic yard of excess curbside trash under the published county schedule effective October 1, 2025. County-approved excess service; obtain the total and current rate from 311 before authorizing collection.

Contact 311. The property owner must sign the Excess Yardage Approval form before excess removal.

Can I get same-day appliance pickup in The Hammocks?+
Book by 2pm at your pickup address for same-day pickup, where available. Checkout shows the dates you can choose. Your pickup is scheduled for a day rather than an exact arrival appointment, and we text you before arrival. Have the appliance disconnected and ready outside by your pickup readiness time.
Can you take a washing machine and dryer in one pickup?+
Yes. Add one Washing machine and one Dryer so both units are included in the price. They are separate items, even when you bought them as a set. If yours is a single combined unit or the machines still need to be unstacked, contact us before booking to confirm the scope.
Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+
Dropcurb picks up appliances that are already disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange uninstallation, utility disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Use a qualified professional for gas, hardwired or plumbing connections when needed. We handle loading and haul-away from the outdoor pickup spot.
Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. Select the old appliance, choose a pickup day and arrange for it to be disconnected and accessible outside. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.
Can I put out a washing machine?+
