Book the unwanted bags and boxes left after packing. Choose an available pickup day before you hand back the keys, and arrange to have them outside.

A few simple choices turn a mixed pile into a clear booking. No need to estimate how much of a truck it might fill.
Count each trash bag or filled household box. Books and media go by the box. Clothes, bedding and shoes go by the filled bag. Toys packed together have a Box of toys choice. Ask us about unusually heavy or oversized bags and boxes first.
Empty cardboard is a different choice: choose single empty boxes or tied bundles of 10 flattened boxes. Compacted bales have their own weight-based choices and require loading-dock access. A Storage bin choice covers the empty bin itself; ask us to confirm the contents if they are going too.
Add the actual larger item alongside your bags and boxes, such as a sofa, chair or mattress. It has its own price and preparation. Keep construction materials and items needing special handling out of ordinary household bags.

Waste Connections of Florida collects bulk waste under a city contract, each property gets six free bulk pickups a year, and the city also runs a free bulk drop-off on the first weekend of every month.
Furniture is named inside the city's bulk waste definition, so a couch or chair travels on one of the six free bulk pickups or goes to the monthly drop-off.
Mattresses are named inside the city's bulk waste definition alongside furniture, so the mattress route is the same free bulk pickup.
Household appliances are named in the bulk waste definition, and refrigerators are accepted with their doors removed, so a cooling unit has an explicit route rather than an inherited one.
Electronics are not part of the bulk waste definition and go to the two Miami-Dade County Home Chemical Collection Centers, which take computers, monitors, televisions and printers.
Exercise equipment is not named on any city or county list, so the machine has to be confirmed against the bulk service before it is set out.
Building demolition, land clearing and contractor work are expressly outside the city bulk waste service, so property owners and contractors use the building's private service or one of the two licensed commercial haulers.
The handoff matters
Waste Connections of Florida collects bulk waste and yard trash for the city, bulk pickup is scheduled by calling 786.515.2726, and each property is entitled to six free bulk pickups a year. Bulk waste goes out no more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup, and yard trash goes out no more than 24 hours before 7 a.m. on the pickup day, bagged, canned or bundled under 50 pounds with bundles no longer than four feet and limbs no thicker than four inches. Violations carry fines of 50 to 1000 dollars plus the cost of any removal the city has to carry out.

Yes. Estimate how many trash bags the small household pile would fill, and bag or box as much as possible. Select furniture and other larger items separately. There is no extra charge just because the pile is loose. Send a photo first if the count or contents are unclear. A household Dumpster Bag choice does not accept construction debris.
