City cost & eligibility
No charge. For eligible City residential collection customers: up to two listed items that can be loaded by hand on yard-waste day. Normal OUC account charges still apply; oversized or heavy items requiring a claw truck are quoted separately.

Keep streets, sidewalks, mailboxes, trees, poles, hydrants, storm drains and overhead utilities clear. The ordinary route is limited to two qualifying hand-loadable items; confirm other loads first.

Can you take a washing machine and dryer in one pickup?+
Yes. Add one Washing machine and one Dryer so both units are included in the price. They are separate items, even when you bought them as a set. If yours is a single combined unit or the machines still need to be unstacked, contact us before booking to confirm the scope.
Will you disconnect my appliance or carry it out?+
Dropcurb picks up appliances that are already disconnected and accessible outside at ground level. Arrange uninstallation, utility disconnection and indoor carrying before pickup. Use a qualified professional for gas, hardwired or plumbing connections when needed. We handle loading and haul-away from the outdoor pickup spot.
Can I book if the delivery company did not take my old appliance?+
Yes. Dropcurb pickup is separate from buying or installing a replacement, so you can book removal on its own. Select the old appliance, choose a pickup day and arrange for it to be disconnected and accessible outside. If your new delivery is still ahead, confirm the retailer’s haul-away arrangements before booking a separate pickup.
Can the City collect my refrigerator?+
