Treadmill, walking pad or commercial model?
Household treadmill includes folding home models with a tall console. Choose Walking pad for a compact under-desk model, or Commercial treadmill for a large gym machine. All equipment opens those choices.
An exercise bike, elliptical or rower
Spin, upright, recumbent and air bikes all use Exercise bike, including Peloton and other brands. One elliptical includes its connected base, handles and pedals. Rowing machines and Pilates reformers have their own choices.
Weights, racks and benches
Add together the pounds of loose dumbbells, kettlebells, plates and barbells. Free weights are priced in 10 lb units, rounding the combined weight up. For example, 25 lb uses three units. Add a stand, rack or bench separately if it is going too.

Get it ready
Break the machine down where it can be handled safely, keep it out of the blue garbage cart, and remove any console or battery so the battery can go to the household hazardous waste facility instead of the trash.
Trash goes out before 6:00 a.m. on the weekly trash and yard waste day and never in the street or in front of a vacant lot. Keep the pile within ten feet of the curb and at least three feet from mailboxes, fences, trees and poles, do not place it under wires, near storm inlets, over sprinklers or water meters, or behind parked cars, and do not set out debris that was hauled in from another location.

Use the weekly city trash and bulk day
A Panama City household with a couch, a mattress, an appliance or a small furniture load that will fit the weekly pile limit.
Cost & conditions
Collection inside the weekly pile limit is part of the residential utility service with no separate published rate, while a pile above the limit is still collected and charged to the utility account as a special fee without prior notification, so confirm anything oversized with the Environmental Services Division at 850-872-3172.
Arrange it
Put the items at the curb before 6:00 a.m. on the weekly trash and yard waste day for the address, keeping the pile within four feet by six feet by six feet and within ten feet of the curb.
The city refuses dirt, concrete, hazardous material and tires, does not collect debris hauled in from another location, and charges for construction, remodeling, roofing shingle and excessive loads.

Arrange it
Drive the load to the Steelfield Road Landfill at 11411 Landfill Road in Panama City Beach, which the county describes as open to the public and the only Class I facility in the county.
White goods are recycled as scrap rather than landfilled and tires have to be cut into at least eight pieces to be landfilled, and large or bulky loads have to come here because the Bayline Drive drop-off center takes only small loads of household garbage and trash.

The county's only Class I disposal facility takes household garbage, Class II household trash such as swing sets, furniture, clothing, bicycles and exercise equipment, construction and demolition debris, white goods such as stoves, refrigerators, washing machines and dryers, and waste tires. The household hazardous waste building takes nickel cadmium, lithium ion and lead acid batteries, acids, pesticides, insecticides, pool chemicals, solvents, fertilizers, spot removers, poisons, caustics, fluorescent bulbs, used oil, latex and oil based paint, old gasoline, mercury containing devices, brake fluid, furniture polish, antifreeze, degreasers, and electronics such as desktop computers, laptops, cell phones and tablets.
The household hazardous waste drop-off is for residential material in its original container and the facility is not permitted to receive hazardous waste from a commercial business. White goods are prohibited from Florida landfills and are processed for scrap, and waste tires have to be cut into at least eight pieces to be landfilled, so they are shipped out for processing. Large and bulky loads have to come here rather than to the county's Bayline Drive drop-off center.

No charge. There is no charge for Bay County residents to drop off household hazardous waste and the named electronics at the household hazardous waste building, while scrap metal items such as appliances, bicycles, lawnmowers, barbecue grills and bed frames are recycled for a disposal fee and general disposal loads pay the landfill tipping fee.
