Charlotte County allows four cubic yards of bulk items each week, and the facility list names furniture and refuse, but a mattress is not named in the retained county pages.

The county publishes no separate mattress charge. Confirm the item, the weekly allowance and any current charge with Waste Management or the Solid Waste Division before set-out.
When & how
Ask Waste Management at 941-629-1106, or 941-697-0012 in the Englewood area, before putting a mattress out, then place it in front of the property on your scheduled service day.
Get it ready
Keep the mattress inside the four-cubic-yard weekly allowance, in front of the property that pays the annual sanitation fee, and free of the prohibited construction debris.
Bulk material has to come from the improved property assessed the annual sanitation fee and be placed in front of it. Debris placed on adjacent or across-the-street property is not collected and has to be removed from the curb within 24 hours.
Use a permitted, accessible outdoor spot. Arrange the move out of your home, keep shared access clear and follow your confirmation’s readiness instructions. Check with your building about access or staging limits before booking.

Improved residential properties in Charlotte County that pay the annual sanitation fee and have up to four cubic yards of bulky items, refuse or unbundled yard trimmings for one week.
Cost & conditions
The county publishes no separate bulk load price. Confirm the load and any current charge with Waste Management or the Solid Waste Division.
Arrange it
Place the load in front of the property on the scheduled service day, and add up to ten more items of properly bundled, bagged or containerized yard waste.
Renovation and home improvement debris, anything over four cubic yards, and material placed on a neighbouring or across-the-street property are prohibited.

Arrange it
Gate hours are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, with unloading finished 30 minutes before the stated close. Hand-unloaders must enter 30 minutes before closing.
Wide loads are not being accepted and every load has to be contained within the trailer. Haulers disposing of construction and demolition debris must give the origin building permit number or the load is charged at the out-of-county rate.
Charlotte County runs the routes for this address. Curbside bulk covers four cubic yards a week, appliances and electronics are request-only pickups, and tires run on the recycling day. Renovation debris is prohibited in the curbside pile and has to go to a Mini-Transfer and Recycling Facility within its limits or to the county landfill at 29751 Zemel Road, which charges by the ton and takes card payment only. The Mid-County facility on Kenilworth Blvd. is the closest drop-off, but it is partially closed for renovations and currently takes only scrap metal, household hazardous waste, sharps, waste tires and recyclables; the county points residents to the West Charlotte facility in Englewood meanwhile. Card only: Visa or MasterCard, no cash. Haulers must give the origin building permit number for construction and demolition loads or pay the out-of-county rate. Wide loads are not accepted and every load must be contained in the trailer. Used motor oil, batteries, mercury devices and fluorescent bulbs are routed to the curbside program or the Mini-Transfer facilities instead of burial.
